Here’s just a bit of what you’d do:
Develop and maintain client specific financial and claims analysis reports including monthly financial reporting, clinical conditions reporting, biometric screening analysis, and wellness incentive tracking
Build and maintain financial and clinical models to support client account teams
Prepare ad hoc financial and clinical reporting for client teams and clients.
Assist in the development of strategies which support client health and welfare benefit plan objectives
Participate in face-to-face client and vendor meetings as required.
Develop strategies and standards to improve data warehouse & reporting implementation process.
Understand clinical vendor space and make recommendations to internal and external customers
You’d also need to be equipped with the knowledge, skills and abilities to do the job, including, but not limited to, having:
Ability to understand and work with clinical, financial, and health care concepts.
Strong Excel, PowerPoint, skills
Experience with data and data warehouse reporting
Ability to work with detail, follow directions and maintain a high level of accuracy.
Ability to listen, understand and address client needs and concerns.
Strong client communication and presentation skills, strong interpersonal skills, strong analytic skills.
And, let’s not forget the qualifications for the job:
Minimum 5-7 years’ experience, preferably in a life/health, employee benefits or provider organization, is required.
A high school diploma is required, and a college degree is preferred.
The ability to work regular core hours Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:45 p.m. is required.
